Welcome to the personal webpage of Dr Jason Laurie. I hold the position of Senior Lecturer and Applied Mathematics Subject Group Lead in the Department of Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering at Aston University, situated in the city of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
I am an applied mathematician working in the field of turbulence. My research interests include fluid dynamics and turbulence (both classical and quantum), nonlinear waves, and nonlinear optics.
