Welcome to the personal webpage of Dr Jason Laurie. I am a lecturer in mathematics at Aston University located in Birmingham in the United Kingdom. I have been at Aston University since 2016. I am an applied mathematician working mostly in the fields of nonlinear waves and turbulence. My interests range from fluid mechanics, both classical and condensed matter, nonlinear optics, and more recently gravitational waves in cosmology.
